The History of the North Hobart Junior Football Club

The North Hobart Junior Football Club was first known as the "North Hobart Little League Football Club" and was established in 1978 by Mr and Mrs Geoffrey Cooper.

It appears there were two teams, one Under 12 and one Under 10 and they played in the Southern Primary Football Association.

The Under 12 team was coached by Mr Cyril Drew and the Under 10 team was coached by Mr Wayne Douglas and each team was made up of players from both Campbell Street and New Town Primary Schools.

All home games were played at Campbell Street Primary School and training was held at both Campbell Street and New Town Primary Schools.

Members of the Executive Committee were:

President - Geoffrey Cooper

Secretary - Dennis Emmett

Treasurer - Ron Hayes

Meetings were held at the New Town Primary School.
