The North Hobart Junior Football Club is a member of the Southern Tasmanian Junior Football League competition.

The North Hobart Junior Football Club Inc is a not-for-profit junior football club seeking to provide young Tasmanians with an opportunity to play the Australian game of football - Aussie Rules or AFL Football.

The Committee has to make sure that the club complies with State Government and Hobart City Council rules and regulations pertaining to public liability insurance, player welfare and usage of grounds.

The Club is incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1964 and the official name of the Club is the North Hobart Junior Football Club Inc.

The Club's financial year is from 1st October each year to the 30th September in the following year.

The Club holds an Annual General Meeting after the end of each financial year. Regular Committee meetings are held throughout the year. All members of the Club are invited to attend these meetings. Meetings are held at the North Hobart Football Club clubrooms.

The Club fields teams from U08 to U18 in the Southern Tasmanian Junior Football League (STJFL) competition. The Club also supports AFL Auskick and organises an AFL Auskick centre each year.

The Club is an affiliated member of the Southern Tasmanian Junior Football League Inc.

The Club plays in the Central division of the U08 competition, in the U09 to U12 junior competition and the U13 to U16 and U18 youth competitions against the following junior and youth football clubs: Brighton, Channel, Claremont, Clarence, Cygnet, Dodges Ferry, Glenorchy, Hobart, Huonville Lions, Kermandie, Kingborough, Lauderdale, Lindisfarne, New Norfolk, Sandy Bay, Sorell & Triabunna.
